Edgewood Veterans Stadium — Attraction in San Antonio

Unprofessional & extremely rude staff. They have a, "no large bags/purse" policy which gives off a "bad/dangerous/gang" environment. And their, "must pay again to re-enter" policy is just plain highway robbery. They enforced that rule with several ladies but not 10 minutes later they opened allowed a gentleman to enter & exit as he pleased, WITHOUT paying again. He wasn't an employee, he was a spectator from the visiting team. Interesting. Concession stand ran out of food before half time. Which is shocking since food items were excessively priced. Sounds like they didn't plan properly. CAUTION: access to stand from concession stands it extremely steep. Take good shoes & walk slowly. NOT suitable for the disabled, wheelchair nor anyone with difficulties walking. Limited parking. One good thing: restroom attendant was...

Great hospitality from Kennedy coach Nuñes, enjoyed the facilities and turf field. Had a phenomenal conversation with the AD, I hope they can expand soccer in the area and have a program that can facilitate youth soccer for the district and neighbourhood. The facilities have the potential and capacity to make great things happen with sports, soccer being the main focus due to demographics in the community and culture!
