Prices are too expensive here. I believe the cashiers don’t add up the money correctly because it doesn’t make sense on how expensive the final price is. I ordered 1 Fideo Loco, 1 special with the tea & a Mexicana asada taco. It came out to almost $30. It seemed a bit expensive for not that many items and when I asked for a receipt all they gave me was a description of what I ordered and the total. No singular prices to see why it came out to so much. The day before that I got 1 Fideo loco, 1 asada a la Mexicana plate, 1 fajita quesadilla plate and 1 sweet tea. It came out to $40! And they didn’t even give me a receipt. I had tried calling to ask about their prices but when I asked the lady gave me attitude and didn’t want to respond. Instead she was saying well you can come to the restaurant and talk to the owners I’m very busy working by myself. Lady I’m just asking prices to know why my bill came out so expensive. She proceeded to tell me that I have to talk to the owners and that sometimes they’re not even there. So I asked well what are their names so I can ask for them and she said “I’m not authorized to tell you that”. the whole thing seemed so shady as if she was trying to hide something. I wouldn’t recommend coming here, they seem like workers that want to earn an extra buck from you. There’s other cheaper priced Mexican food around that are delicious in the area. It’s not fair that the cashiers try to make a fool out of you and try to charge you more than what it is. I’m still going to talk to the owners to make them aware of the situation. On the receipt I put “9.99” because that’s how much the Fideo loco is. That’s the only price that they were able to give me. When I asked for the rest of the prices the cashier started to get defensive and wouldn’t communicate...
Read moreI ordered 1 plate (7.50 or so), 3 tacos (5$ Or so), 2 coffee (3$ Max or so), 2 drinks (even if they were 4$), they charged me $24.50! How do two people eat for 24.50$??? At a Mexican Restaurant on Cupples Rd?
The waitress that served us, never came back but one time. When we went to pay, there was a different lady ringing up items. She seemed lost and she would look up at the other waitresses chit chatting on an empty table every time she would ring something up. Looked like she was literally pulling numbers out of her a**.
We always have a full plate each, at a Jalisco on Culebra drinks and all and it's always been about 18-19$ sounds more reasonable. Even with an extra drink to go, it wouldn't be 24.50$.
I came back looked at the menu, asked for the detailed receipt. None of the numbers matched the menu prices. I was not happy.
There's no doubt I was overcharged. Even rounding up numbers. But I paid with my card, I didn't want to deal with it.
But you know what, the way I see life is, what goes around comes around. My loss will be yours. They probably work there because of that reason and I don't. I'm grateful I even get to treat my family.
Life is all about doing the right thing, all the time, treating people the way you want to be treated, having integrity when no one is looking etc. But life will teach you that eventually, even if it's...

W H Y ? When I inquired from the cashier , she said that they now charge .25 cents for each tortilla they toast. Have ;you heard of anyone else doing that? needless to say 'that I don't know of any other restaurant doing that. by the way, is it LEGAL to do that.? I then left the tacos there and took off, ,by the route of "ROCKYS' knowing that, they would never do that.. P.S.
