Since the new management took over in the past year or so, these things come to mind: We never had to pay for water before, now we do. Prices in general have seemed to sneakily increase (even before the recent scourge of inflation) There's been no observable improvements in grounds maintenence (or any other aspects of the park) whatsoever; areas that seemed neglected before are still neglected, as well as various other areas throughout. There's still a most unfortunate problem with feral cats, and at the very least they should have attention from the spey/neuter/ release type organizations, it's just a shame to see and they use the bathroom under people's properties creating a nasty smell that carries. The park complimentary wifi has always been mediocre, which is fine. However, it has been working pretty steady the past 3 or 4 months, yet has been going down park-wide multiple times per month in July and August, and that can happen but the issue is that management seems to be neglectful, ignorant, or uninterested about solving those issues whenever I or family call the office about it- if it cannot be fixed by resetting the hardware, they seem to just shrug and basically say something like "I don't know what to do, sorry" instead of escalating the troubleshooting to involve calling the purveyor/company that's supposed to be responsible for the upkeep of the system, for solutions. It shouldn't be our (the tenants) responsibility to escalate the issue so that its dealt with. This is particularly frustrating as there's literally never any idea, not even the most vague notion as to how long we'll be disconnected. So to be clear, we're not upset that the service goes down, (that's frustrating in its own way) we're upset because of the lack of initiative to deal with it promptly, and the lack of subsequent communication afterwards on management's behalf.
In conclusion, in the years and decades past, this park was very much a peaceful example of "you get what you pay for". Now, it's more like "you sometimes get what you pay for, kind of. " As it is now more expensive than ever before to live here. Very frustrating at times when you're pretty poor to begin with, and have spent so many years living here- it feels like there's no genuine customer support, or any loyalty to people like my family who have lived...
Read moreI wanted to like it this place. Check in seemed to go okay (was helped by an older lady with really dark really curly hair)We get to the site after driving over a bunch of speed bumps. To get into our spot we had to back up a hill & down a narrow driveway. Ontop of that the permanent residents have carports so there isnt much room to maneuver a truck & trailer. We were having a hard time & couldn't squeeze in. So I called the office & asked if they were sure there wasnt another spot. I was told no so I asked for some help backing in. They sent someone right away but he just stood & watched, was no help at all. My husband finally gets it in the spot! The 30amp plug-in at the site had caught on fire at some point. We tell the check in lady & she says someone will come look at it but it might be a couple of days. We were using the 50amp plug anyways & it looked ok. Well, we started getting electrical surges the next day and walked to the front desk. It was a different lady and she sent maintenance right away. They tell us nobody said we asked for help the day before. That lady that checked us in is really getting on my nerves, can she do her job correctly? The next issue was when we went to use the laundry and the door is locked. We go to the office & find out we should gave been issed keycards. The lady that checked us in didnt say anything about those! The park is in the city so there are lots if car noises, a train track near by and a gravel pit with big trucks running almost all day and night. The pool was closed for the season even though at booking time was told only closed when it was cold. Traffic in the morning to get out of the park was a nightmare. The only good things I have to say is that it's fairly close to everything and they are pet friendly. There are cheaper parks available & with bigger spots. I would not stay at Greentree village again because of multiple bad experiences caused by...
Read moreEdited 10-27-21 They changed owners since our April 2021 stay. In order to stay a month in the RV park, you must complete an application which costs $50. In the application you must include pictures of your RV and pets, provide 3 months pay stubs, and other personal information. We have stayed at Green Tree and several other parks for more than a month without having to provide detailed personal information. Therfore we decided to cancel and will never stay at this RV Mobilehome park again! When I called to cancel the reservation, I was informed that the regional manager would need to approve the $50 deposit that was paid just 2 hours ago. Too much red tape to stay at a RV park that I gave 3 stars on previous stay.
April 2021 It's a good RV park with basic amenities. The public bathrooms are not private. The pool is by the office and at the intersection of 2 major roads so it's loud. When yall come try to get a Rav spot at the back because it's quite. The staff is friendly. They do offer curbside trash pick up. Some of the mobile homes have been here for at least 40 years and they are showing there age. Some yards are maintained others not so much. The people who live here are nice and keep to themselves. We've stayed here a few times over the years because of its location and rates. The rates do include electric which is a huge bonus when you are here for a month and it's hot outside. O, when it rains, it floods easy. We...
