Liz's Events Reception Hall — Attraction in San Antonio

When I asked for quotes they were super fast in responding and gave me a price and then said they have a $275 pick up fee that they could waive if I booked that day so we booked then they said they need a deposit and said we prefer the full price to be paid as the deposit but if you can’t then at least more than 50% needs to be paid they then went on to say if you don’t pay in full then they can’t waive the fee and once we paid the full amount for the deposit it was almost impossible to get in touch with them after the phone number goes straight to voicemail and your messages will be read but not replied to we needed them to call the location and answer some questions for them and this was done 3 days before the event when we asked weeks in advance and we were told last minute the sparklers we were renting couldn’t be used they had no replacement and said the deposit was non refundable which they never mentioned in any of our text, DMs, and phone calls and they decided to add more balloons instead. All of this would’ve been fine with me but once I arrived to the event the balloons were not the colors I ordered and looked dirty and you could tell lots of them popped. With the heat again I would understand them popping but paying over $1,000 for the balloons alone they at least should’ve been what...

In 5/2019 my sister in law had my niece's Quinceanera at Liz's Event Hall. At the time we were planing my daughter's quince for 2021. And after my niece's quince my wife & I were blown away of how Liz's detail of my sister in laws vision of what a quince theme should be. At that point we were sold on Liz's Events. Here we are now my daughter's quince was 12/19/21 and let me tell you ALL our guests are still talking about the details on decor, food, cleanliness, dessert table, bar area and of course hospitality of the venues team. This place was so beautiful!! The outside of the building is not much but once you walk in you will be in awe how gorgeous everything is!! From the moment I booked this place Liz and her staff were amazing. It was so nice not having to worry about a single thing once we walked in. We had a coordinator that was assigned to us and would let me know what was happening next. She would also communicate with the DJ when to make announcements for food, candy stations and the cake. I did pay extra for the video that was displayed for all her pictures and the drapes that hung up as you walked in. It was worth it!!!
