From the moment I walked through the doors almost two years ago, I felt a sense of belonging that I had never experienced before. Everyone was quick to introduce themselves and make me feel at home. I remember sitting down and meeting three people before the service had even begun. It was a refreshing change from other churches I have visited, where I often felt like just another face in the crowd.

Today I went to this church today is 7-5-2023 at 2:35pm a rude older white lady who said she was renting the building racially profiles me. She was very Rude to me I was in a situation where I needed someone to talk to and this looks really bad on the church. You renting out your building to heathens who aren't saved who don't know how to treat people I was Questioned I was interrogated like I did something wrong. It was so hot out I had walked a long way to come to this church I'm in a crisis and I needed to speak to the pastor. This lady wouldn't even give me any water she said she was calling the police on me.

I will never ever step foot in another church in my life. You all are hypocrites and you can't talk about the world because your doing the same thing. What if I was unsaved and I had a question about salvation and came to this church and was treated like this

Yes it is a younger crowd of mostly 20-45 year old families and singles. However, there are some elders there too and I’m not sure a church can control who shows up on Sunday! Pastor Tom is hands down the best preacher I have witnessed in years. He is Bible based and that’s it. Gospel plus nothing! I had been away from the church for 20 years and the first time I came to Mission my husband and I both wanted to be baptized there and signed up for any volunteer opportunity we could get our hands on. They have helped me with personal struggles and reached out to me on numerous occasions. These friendly people have become my new church family and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Only thing negative I can say is the music is contemporary which turns some people off HOWEVER they have recently added “the vintage service” at 8:30am with only traditional piano hymns.
