St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church — Attraction in San Antonio

First of all, I love the homilies from the priest and the music is so lively. The entire congregation makes the parish so welcoming and energized. Second, It’s so different from other parishes I have visited as everyone actually sings and not just the choir. The people are so reverent to the deacons and priest, that I was so mesmerized with my love for God. I'm not the most religious person. But I am very spiritual. What I love about this church besides the point that it was my mother's Parish, I always find that the priests are very well spoken and are engaging with their scripture lessons. You know how sometimes you go to a church service and you're falling asleep... well this is NOT one of them. It's a good-sized church. So there's always plenty of seating. Very well-kept. St Mary Magdalen is home away from home. The community and Father Will transmit God's love beautifully. The Spanish mass on Sunday is breathtaking. They are so welcoming! In the three years I attended, I met angels that not only supported my family's growth in faith and love but hold a special place in my heart. Because of them, I continue to grow in faith and to fall in love with our lord everyday. A true blessing to have been a part of such an inspiring community.
