The Buñuelo Factory — Restaurant in San Antonio

This item can be found at culebra meat market but it is not always fresh. At the actual building, it is more likely to be fresh. They offer mini bunuelos and the prices are really cheap. They don't usually have lines unless it is Christmas. It will have a line out the door but if you take cash and especially a lot of quarters you may get to the front of the line because they have ran out of change before. I think during holidays you are limited to the amount you can buy but that is because they are making them fresh while you wait in line and have a lot of customers. Any other day oh can walk in an out quickly. Knock on the door because they lock it. They probably will not see you if you do not try to get their attention. Visited Wednesday 11/16/22. Extremely pleased with products offered. Purchased 2 bags of 3 inch Buñuelos 50per bad.$12. 6 inch Buñuelos we're 25 bag $15. Not real busy. Easy access VIA bus 97. Looked great. Lot of cinnamon and sugar. Not too crispy. Took to District 5 senior center. Seniors loved them. My father was Joe Ramos "The Barber". He was the one that shared this place with me. When he passed away, I had to look for The Bunuelos" because they used to be down the street on Basse Rd. I am sad to hear that the owners are retiring. This has been such a long time tradition. The last one I have that was shared with my father.
