We had a birthday party here over the weekend and I do not recommend this venue for having a party. We have had parties at other trampoline/adventure parks and this place was not only more expensive but lacked many of the great qualities of the other party options in San Antonio. The rooms are āsemi privateā meaning there is a room divided into two rooms with a curtain. We paid for the galaxy party with a minimum of 20 guests. We got the smallest room they have (looks like it may have been a storage area that they converted to a party room due to demand). The other rooms all had nice signs, an open entry way and seemed to have a little more space. We didnāt have any of that and when I requested a sign for our location they wrote my sonās name on a piece of paper with a sharpie and taped it to a wall. When we arrived, none of the tablets were working to sign in to have waivers completed and the staff was unresponsive and not very clear with directions. Once we headed to the party area, I saw my party host and was told any guests that came needed to go to a different area to get their bands and socks. Most of the time guests would have to wait at this table for the party attendant because they were off either managing another party or working the concessions. In the room, it was already set up with plates and water bottles but no napkins which they said they would provide. They ran out of the color we requested but I guess decided we wonāt use any other color and didnāt inform me either. It would have taken 5 mins to run next door to dollar tree and buy party napkins. But I guess thatās on me for thinking they would provide all the things they said they would. I should have brought my own napkins and plates. It was my fault that I didnāt even notice they didnāt have napkins out until it was time for pizza. They didnāt even tell me and when I asked for napkins they gave us paper towel rolls from the main dining area. Please spend the $25 and opt to bring outside food and water. They give you only 20 water bottles. Before I could get a marker out that I brought, kids had opened their bottle drank some and ran out to continue playing. If you wanted more water or didnāt know which was your bottle, too bad. š. Additional bottles were $2 each. The only other time I saw my party host was when it was time for pizza. She brought the pizzas in and thatās it. At other locations, the party host has helped to pass out pizzas, helped to take out the boxes and such. Here, they plopped the pizzas on the table and took off. I wanted to do the cake first and they said they would bring me a lighter (which I had requested on the phone at the time of booking and reminded again a few days before). The attendant left to get the lighter but never came back. I didnāt see my attendant until it was time to tell us to clear the room. We waited almost 10 mins for her and then I remembered I brought my own lighter in case and just used that. There was no communication or anything and the attendant was off managing other parties and in other rooms. It was clear that we were not on their list of high priorities as they seemed to always be in the other rooms. When it came time to pay, it was crazy to see that they are suggesting/requesting a minimum of $115 for tips to an attendant who isnāt even there. I felt obliged to give a tip because I donāt have a backbone but it is clear this place is just a money grab and has no sense of service or customer care. They couldnāt care less how your party goes. I give 2 stars because the kids had fun at the location despite some of the attractions being closed for some reason. If youāre thinking of having a party here, donāt. You will get much better service at Altitude or Airtopia at a much better price point. And I believe they also have pitchers of water they bring out so kids can drink water if needed! edited to add I just checked and it says no outside drinks are allowed. It is clearly a money grab to not even have pitchers of water for kids or even for a parent to drink if they are there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever come here! Beware! I was absolutely appalled by the unimaginable and unprofessional, complete lack of costumer service run by a bunch of young rude people. I recently came here for a birthday party and having previously read the reviews, I was already weary of this place. Upon arrival it took about 15 minutes for anyone to help me find the birthday party. You canāt find any helpful person here. Half the tablets to check in were broken or malfunctioning. Nobody guided me to where the birthday party was, it took forever for the host to come check on us so that my kids could get their socks. I'd say 20 minutes before I finally found and stopped a staff member for help. He said he wasn't our party host so I asked if he could find ours. Wow. The place looked like it was about to fall apart with yellow caution tape everywhere. But the worst of all was when my phone fell into one of the play areas and I was unable to get it. I went to the first staff members I could find who were behind the concession stand. As I was explaining my situation they began to look at each and smile/laugh at my expense. Especially the young female. Concerned, I asked if this had happened before and the female informed me that it has, A LOT. So I asked how do they go about getting people's phones out and she laughed and said they don't. Confused I tried to get some clarity and asked if other peoples phones are simply just trapped within their equipment?! And she said yes with a smile. I then told her that I needed to speak with a manager and that's when she informed me that her and the other young man with her were the managers. So I said I needed to talk to somebody hire or the owner and she proceeded to tell me that I was not able to. I told her to find me somebody I can speak to that will help me! So she said I could talk to the guy up front and started to walk away. The other young man already left situation. So I asked who was the "guy" upfront and she smirked like she was annoyed and said it was ANOTHER MANAGER! I told her to go get him bc I wasnāt walking all over this ginormous building looking for somebody. This manager was a lot kinder and took down my information. Said they could not try to get my phone bc they needed tools and it would be considered a hazard while they are still open so I'd have to wait till they closed. Understandable. The next day my husband goes there. Couldn't find anybody to help him. Finally after walking all the way to the back he found somebody and he he asked about the phone the young female staff went to go get somebody and told her "he's asking about THE phone". Needless to say she was very rude to my husband. Said there was nothing they could do bc the guy who had the tools is very backed up. My husband asked if he needed to talk to somebody else in order to get this figured out and the girl snapped at him and said he can not bring anybody in to come destroy her property! And that I knew not to bring my stuff in that area. (I reread the check in waiver and nowhere does it mention anything about not having phones anywhere on or near the equipment and there are no signs posted). My husband corrected her and informed her that he wasn't going get somebody else to ādestroyā her equipment, he was simply asking if there's somebody hire up he can speak to. In the end, the female took down our information and walked off. Nobody has reached out to us since the beginning. None of the staff showed any care or concern or compassion. Very unprofessional....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWith it being summer time Iām always trying to find new places to entertain my son. I found āThe Rush Fun Parkā from google. Walking in I was happily surprise by the no wait or no huge crowds for being a weekend (Saturday 5pm). My 7yr old was so excited seeing all the different things he can do. Huge play area, ball pit obstacle course, rock climbing, trampoline area, foam pit, and a few (little outdated) arcade games. Basically all the fun activities to exhaust your kid(s). I totally thought I found a hidden gem! With that being said I really wanted to like this place. As I finally got situated in the sitting area with my 5 month old to watch my oldest play thatās when I slowly started to notice everything. Floors looked like they needed a good vacuum and the restrooms were a total mess. Thatās not even an exaggeration! Most stalls didnāt have toilet paper, used diapers just stacked on top of the baby changing tables, Which led me to choose to change my baby on my lap. Did I mention that the floors needed a good sweep and mop? Just wasnāt clean in my opinion for a family place. Still trying to look past the dirtiness my boys and I head to the concession stand to get some snacks. As I mentioned in the beginning, thereās no crowds here and we are the only ones in line. As we wait for an employee to help us with the snacks, Iām trying to convince my son we should have his next birthday party here. As we continue to talk about āThe Rushā, we literally waited 10 minutes with no help. At that point my hope for this place went out the window. Short staff? Most definitely for a weekend. During our time we stayed I counted 3 employees. One working the check-in / rock climbing are, the second employee I believe was hosting a party and the third employee was at the prize area and maybe even floating around. Not exactly sure but for sure didnāt see anymore employees for the time I was there. Looking back I didnāt hate the place just wasnāt too happy about it. I think 3 stars is...
