Can't beat the price of $2 seats - we sat in section 120, row H which was not a bad vantage point. I will say although Bernie's Snackbar workers were friendly, they were "out of" a few things like grilled onions & peppers for my $12 philly cheesesteak sandwich, and we got in line in the middle of the 1st inning, so it seems more like they didn't have any vs. they ran out. They told the guy in front of me they were out of beer on tap (though maybe they sell it that way elsewhere in the stadium where they have 21 & older employees serving(?) I also noticed they fill each soda cup completely full of ice which gives you even less beverage in the $3.50 Small & $6.50 Large sodas... which seems crazy to me. I asked for easy ice by the time we got up there to order and he still filled it half way up. They only gave us half the toppings that were supposed to come on the stadium nachos & regular Pepsi instead of diet(?) But, they were kind enough to give us 2 cups of ice water... which made me think that next time I'll ask for no ice in my soda and get a cup of ice on the side! If you text "ie66ers" to the number 44989 you can use the menu to see some of items available and it looked like have good delivered to you or order for pickup. I was bummed that thre picture in the app looks like you'd get several chicken strips and fries for $8, but you only get 2!!
It was nice to be out and at a game. And though we may have unknowingly chosen like the hottest day to go - the trees provided a nice shield as the sun set. There was a swarm of strange termite looking flying ants that kept floating by (!???) For the 7th inning stretch, the kids get to run through the outfield with the mascot Bernie & they do fun interactive little highlights or activities that keeps people engaged and interested. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit to the ball park with family + the fireworks topped off the evening nicely ~ Loved the...
Read moreTHIS CLASSIC BALLPARK IS a HOME RUN! The seats are so spacious here and I love that you get an incredible view no matter where you sit! San Manuel is home of the MiLB's Inland Empire 66ers, affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels! As an Angels fan, I'm ecstatic that we have a minor league team in the IE! San Manuel is super popular with baseball goers but it also hosts concerts, community events and much more! It's a bit rough around the edges in some locations. However, they just touched up the field and it looks crisp! I LOVE the views here! Additionally, the lawn sections and team store are amazing! I think the stadium could use a slight remodel as some things are a bit outdated, however the seats NEED to stay, they have spaces underneath each-other where you can stick your fit and it's a massive help for tall people like me lol. There's several concession stands, however during the week several are closed, idk why as this limits the options of patrons. During the weekend, all concessions are open. Some of the food needs to be adjusted, the French fries have a strong seasoning that is very off-putting and unenjoyable. The ice cream looks great and the other desserts like funnel cake and shaved ice are must-haves! The stadium has plenty of parking, expect a $10 charge per vehicle. The lot is spacious and the attendants are nice! San Manuel is close to the metro link, so if you're looking to cut costs on transportation, that's an option! I haven't tried the upstairs lounge-like seating but they look comfortable! A bar called the "Garage" is available near first base where you can reserve seating for large parties and also purchase drinks during the game without...
Read moreWe attended the 2$ Tuesdays deal with only having a huge let down when entering the staduim. I bought my tickets online, and saw on thier FAQ that take cash at the establishment. Good because I lost my card days after purchasing my tickets but hubby and I had cash. Before placing an order at thr concessions ,my husband asks but right away they inform us that the whole place is CASHLESS! We were devastated and felt dumb. We thought it was clear since we entered and they were taking cash when we did the giveaway wheel on the front entrance. Pretty decieveing. But the cashier informed us that they do Bernie bucks in place of payment. But we got hit with another wall of disappointment when they didn't have any to give out! My husband grew frustrated because we weren't allowed outside food and he had 100 dollar bill only. But luckily by grace of God, one of the employees helped us out willingly. I forgot his name but he's a red haired gentleman. Just thank you for your patience! We definitely had a good time. And now we know to be...
