My goodness, this place was a pleasant surprise! My boyfriend and I wanted Mexican food, but from a place we had never been to and we took a chance on this place. From the outside it doesn't look like much and I was skeptical on how authentic the food was going to be. I ordered chilaquiles and my boyfriend a torta while we shared some Chile verde fries. The Chile verde was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the salsa verde on top was spicy too, something that a lot of places around here seem to lack: spicy Mexican food. Chilaquiles weren't drowning in sauce, just the perfect amount and the rice and beans were delicious. Read moreWe had a male server, very poor service... ordered Menudo and caldo de rez and he said he would come back with the rice it comes with. He never did he stood there cashing people out and counting his tips. We tried to get his attention never could. We got another servers attention and asked for the rice it came with so she went n told the cook. They didn't even have it ready and good thing bc it would have been cold bc so much time had passed. When they put it out he finally brought it and asked if we wanted a refill but I was already done eating. He never asked if we needed anything else. He left the bill it was over $42 for the Menudo, caldo, 1 agua and a water and 1 carnitas taco and then they charge 4% for using the card... For our food we waited over 30 mins and it wasn't even busy... not even half full in there...

When she hit the floor you could tell the other family members stepped up their game. You could tell this was family run business and mom...
