I am on social security-she came to pick up my 5 yr old 42 in Vizio- she said she just plugged it in - however all those connections had been checked when it went out 5 days previously. What ever she did, the tv suddenly came on. I am thankful that it wasn't the motherboard. The charge was $50 for visit if in cash, or $55 for card(credit or debit). I was certain she was going to pick it up. We hadn't discussedd diagnostics or anything financial. I am retired and disabled and use a walker, on good days, maybe a cane on good days, I was and unable to carry that tv anywhere. She did travel to my home after work on a Saturday from San Bruno to E 3rd Ave., San Mateo... I am thinking a more appropriate charge would have been $45., considering all she did was plug it in. In the old days when I wasn't so reliant on a fixed income, I would have graciously thanked her and immediately paid her however, I no longer am able to carry large sums of cash and rely on my debit card. I will use this business again. I am no expert, but these folks do know their stuff, just make sure to discuss...
Read moreWow! I am so impressed with the service I just received. The sound on my 10 year old TV has been muffled recently and it was annoying me. So yesterday I called the local TV repair shop (Rainey's). The gal who answered the phone took my information and said she would have the service person come out this morning. Sonny arrived and, within a half hour, he reset everything AND taught me how to use the remote gizmo that brings up Netflix, etc plus how to use the gizmo to play DVD's and old tapes! He also told me that Rainey's owner retired and Rainey's is permanently closed. Guess Commbridge was able to arrange to get their phone calls. Sonny also told me to call him whenever we have computer issues...which is great because as a senior citizen, I have a severe technology handicap! When I asked Sonny if they sold new TVs, he said they have really good TVs at excellent prices. So when I'm ready to replace my old one, I will be paying Commbridge a visit! By the way, the price for today's service was low and worth every penny! So glad I found this company!!! I do like to support...
Read moreCommbridge came to my home on the same day that I called them and they fixed my plasma TV right away. I have a nice Samsung plasma TV that I bought in 2014 and, it was working beautifully, but the power supply died yesterday. Commbridge had the Samsung replacement board in stock, they arrived at my home just when they said they would, and in a few minutes they had the new circuit board installed so my TV is displaying a great image again. The cost for the house call visit, parts and labor was quite reasonable, and it was much lower than the price I would have to pay for a replacement TV. I appreciate the excellent service that Commbridge gave me. They accept payment through Venmo, PayPal, personal check or cash, and I was able to use my PayPal account to reimburse them...
