The Cabrillo Statue Plaza is such a great spot to visit! The views are absolutely amazing, especially on a sunny day—you can see all the way to Mexico, which is so cool if you’re like me and love seeing borders.

A short walk from the visitor center, the Cabrillo statue, offers the best views of the San Diego skyline. If you are lucky, there may be a ship or even a submarine entering or leaving the harbor.
