Whale Overlook — Local services in San Diego

Nice little walk around a loop. Goes from the old lighthouse to the new lighthouse (currently occupied by lifeguards). Can't visit the new lighthouse bc it's military but it has a nice view! We also weren't really able to go to the top of the old lighthouse bc it was closed, and it super cramped with a tiny spiral staircase. there's a tiny museum with the old light bulbs next to the house.

Beautiful 360 views of San Diego and the Pacific. Bring your own binoculars or bring quarters for the ones there. We could not see any whales due to rain and fog.
