Calumet Park — Attraction in San Diego

Super cute little park in Bird rock, great to wind down and admire the calming sound of the waves crashing on the shores. The views of the ocean were stunning, and the sound of the waves crashing was so peaceful. The park was well-maintained and had plenty of benches for visitors to enjoy. Great to pick up pastries from Wayfarer then eat them in front of the breathtaking Pacific ocean. Sometimes there are yoga groups doing some meditation. Calumet Park is perfect for a small, informal family wedding. Located on a grassy bluff overlooking a Bird Rock beach, this setting is a great alternative to a beach ceremony without the sand. This is such a pretty park overlooking la Jolla cove. We didn't spend a long time here since I had to get in that ocean as quickly as possible. The water in the cove is magical. There were Garibaldi fish and schools of neon fish and others that I had no idea what they were but they were awesome. I swam through kelp beds and seagrass and over reefs and white sand.
