Communion is in Mission Hills on Washington St. just east of I-5. It sits on the top floor of an 8-story building on top of the hill. The views are spectacular on both sides with plenty of glass and patio area to see San Diego. We had a drink at the bar before dinner. The bar is the center piece of the restaurant. I had the Shakti, it was very refreshing and smooth. We sat for dinner and shared several plates. My favorites were the Escondido Oyster Mushrooms, Spanish Octopus and the Dry Aged Duck Breast. They were delicious! Plenty of savory flavors with unique seasonings you would expect from a place of this magnitude.
