AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST!! On April 11th 2019 I visited this location and had the worst experience of my life. I placed 2 orders and after receiving them I asked the supervisor if he can please put my spicy sandwich from my second order in a box. He grabbed the bag and took it to the back and then after left. After returning from the restroom I waited for my second order to be ready. That's when the HR lady by the name of Kimberly M Kalleberg came to me and asked if I needed help. I explained to her that I was waiting for my second order and she told me that it was already given to me. I explained to her that I hadn't received it and we went back and forth. That's when I was accused of stealing it when I clearly didn't. I asked her to call the supervisor or to look at the cameras so she can see that I hadn't stolen anything but she refused. She was still persistent that I had taken the order and all of this happened in front of employees and customers. I felt so humiliated and discriminated because of my nationality (Hispanic). She automatically assumed that since I was Hispanic, I had stolen the item and that clearly wasn't the case. I begged her to look at the cameras so she can see that she was wrong but she said no. In her eyes I was a thief. She even told a cook to make me the sandwich again but in a loud voice so I and all the employees around could hear she said, "make the spicy sandwich again for the second time!" Afterwards, I kept trying to explain to her what had happen and why the confusion but she didn't want to hear it and she walked away. I asked another employee if I can get a refill on my soda and rudely she said no because she was on her break but didn't even bother asking someone else to help me out. This whole time this employee was next to Kimberly while she was accusing me of stealing. Definitely the WORST experience I have ever had in ANY restaurant. Keep in mind the I am a huge fan of chick fil a with over 10,000 loyalty points but definitely NEVER coming back to this location. Read moreOh Chick-fil-a you have such nice commercial of people being kind to customers; but tonight for my weekly date-night I picked chick-fil-a. BIG MISTAKE. I went to the Clairemont DTO(#03778) San Diego CA location at 6:45 pm. At the end of my date I went up to the window (chick-fil-a bag in hand) I asked one of the front-of-the house employees if I could have two of the flowers. His response was “Um., I don’t know I have to ask a manager.” So he does and the manager (short,balding husky/heavy-set male with glasses) looks at me (with an expression on his face like why is this person asking me a question and wasting my time) The employee ask him and he say “no, the flowers are for everyone to enjoy”. (Puzzled as to who “every one” is since this location only has outdoor seating, it’s misty for hours and the few customers that went through the walk up window took their food to-go, and most of the people that sat in the outdoor dining area besides myself were the chick-fil-a workers during their breaks.) So I explained to the manager that I am on a video date with my man (boyfriend) who is up in Washington state, as to why I asked. I also told him at least I asked most people probably just take them. Read moreSo I thought one day that I would he'd over and check out the new Chick-fil-A that was setup on Balboa Blvd in Clairemont. I have never been to any of their franchise locations and since this was brand new, I thought things have to all new and they should have their act together. I used the drive-in window and was pleasantly surprised when I saw a young gal there taking notes on orders and relaying everything to the kitchen. I thought to myself well someone has taken some time to figure this system out! Wow...no talking into that speaker box and getting a messed up order! She explained all the options and they got it all perfect! The cherry on top was that they also took my military ID and gave me a discount! Way too go! Got home and started much on everything that I had ordered immediately... why wait right?? Well that's where the road travelled took a sharp turn and everything that had been great up to this point went sideways... As much as I wanted to give them a great review it just wasn't going to happen.... Why you ask? The taste of the food was so bland and dry!! Holy Moley Batman...people go on and on about this place??? Sorry but after getting through about 35% of everything I just had to stop and just collected what was left and tossed it in the trash....made a mental note to myself..."There's one place off my list"..will never try their food again.
