Luckie Waller Little League — Attraction in San Diego

Wish I could give zero stars. The parks are in terrible condition. A time hills everywhere. Outgrown shrubs and just terrible. The team itself. No communication. First day they told us, one of the parents volunteers to be coach or no team would be formed. For practice they gave us a tee, baseball ball and balls. Nothing else. The coach was a parent that had never played which I am not speaking bad of. He did a great job and was very caring and good with the kids but we didn't pay to not have a real coach. Our team mascot was THE INDIANS. FYI the Indians were deemed inappropriate and now the guardians so why would they give us a team with an inappropriate connotation to it?? And the God awful jerseys. A cotton tshirt with crooked number on the back. Every kid on the team washed the shirt once and all the writing on the back and front came off COMPLETELY. Or smeared everywhere to where we had navy blue shirts with cloud looking paint on it. Terrible. Never...

I would give 5 but due couple of drawbacks, I would give 4 stars to this field. note: you have ocean view here.

This is the by farily maintained field in south county of San Diego.

Infield dirt is bumpy die to lot of sand and leavelled. But Outfield needs work. Lot of green and lush with lot of dry patches making it hard for outfileders. They also have lots of greens for warm and practice. There is other field by the side which is little low key field, may be for practices. Nice dugot for the teams with the benches.

Parking is tight, only handful of spots. Also little close to the 1st base, so be aware of foul balls.

Restroom, is well maintained too. Over all well maintained filed and very family...

This little league is a joke, the league “president” (I guess) has no idea what she is doing. Poor communication. We signed up our son since the last season was over, and were informed after this season Already started that there were no coaches, two weeks or so without ANY communication (every other parent was sending messages to the group she made without any response) we’re now informed that they will issue refunds because there’s no other placement for the kids on our team that didn’t get a coach, now that all other leagues have ceased enrollment and we can’t find a new team.
