Came here in early March and there were a lot of people at about 10 am. I hiked for about an hour and a half, enjoying the endless exhilarating oceam views and lots of beautiful cliff views from the trails on the cliffs. Lots of green folliage on the cliffs. Dozens of trails leading to breathtaking ocean views from high up the cliffs, feel the super windy conditions, dirt trails, can easily get lost because the trails keep splitting, one trail led straight down to to the shoreline and beach however the hike took about 25 minutes with some uneven dirt trails and stairs downward requiring good balance to hike down. Lots of people out on the trails. Portable potties at the last parking lot closest to the last trail as you drive upward on the cliffs. Approx $20 per vehicle by first entering the manned parking lot of Torrey Pines State Reserve (South end)and then driving up the road leading to the cliff and trails. I drove to the end of road up and parked at the last parking lot which had portable potties. An annual Explorer Pass will also work for parking.

The North Grove overlook has an amazing view to the north. There is great places where you can get good group shots. There’s good signage and maps and the flora and Fana are very appealing. Be aware that the western edge of this trail is not covered with many trees so it’s good to wear a hat and sunscreen .
