Torrey Pines South Beach — Attraction in San Diego

Our visit to Torrey Pines was such a treat! We parked along the road (not inside the park entrance). The beach view is gorgeous! We had the rare sighting of an orca pod right off the shore (see video and one pic)!! The hike up to the top has a mediocre grade. The top has some flat areas with optional steep trails. The views are amazing and so worthwhile! I also walked the coastline near the cliffs. That was beautiful as well. (Bathrooms were available at the bottom near the entrance.) Torrey Pines is a beautiful place to explore! The beach is clean, peaceful, and perfect for a walk along the shore. The view of the mountains right next to the beach makes it extra special, great for photos and just soaking in nature.

There are a few free parking spots if you're lucky, but if not, paid parking is available for $25. Well worth the visit if you're in the area and want to enjoy some...
