Rock Church City Heights — Attraction in San Diego

I attended with my daughter who moved to the area. Friendly staff and people... worship time was good. Plenty of room, clean bathrooms and Handicapped accessible. Parking available underneath the church building. Around the church building parking is almost non existing. I feel the senior pastor read thru prayers rapidly & noticed people trying to keep up. They have a small area where you can get something to drink & free snacks providing people didn't rush there to consume all the popcorn because there are no limits per family (I watched many families walk away with nothing)... For the most part the congregation was totally friendly. I am not putting the church down but I feel everyone should know the good & bad. It took me many years to find a church to feel like "home" and feel like most people want the same. The Rock Church office no community help they told me to dial 211 I presented all documentation of a moving lease a move out lease a verification of income my ID my case manager telephone number from the family health centers of San Diego San Diego housing commission my closing is being held back for 3 months now due to closing issues I needed a two-way temporary hotel motel voucher something of that nature they told me to call 211 and here's a hygiene pack can you be on your way the armed receptionist with standoffish look at me like I had two heads or do damage to him or the building or something there's a police substation in the building they offer no help at all for community people how much for 3 months not even the 2E voucher that can offer me nothing unbelievable miles McPherson it was more a show than any type of church very sad for churches...

The church has a very welcome atmosphere where everyone can feel accepted and connected by the love of God. The music is energetic and moving. The lyrics are deep, meaningful, and easy to learn. The Holy Spirit is free to move throughout the congregation. I felt the cleansing power of God come over me during the worship. I so needed that - especially today. I highly recommend this church at any location, though I've only been to City Heights, I can sense the anointing is on this whole ministry.
