Please be advised: My dog was bitten by two dogs belonging to a middle-aged woman. It might have been just one of them, but it happened so fast I couldn't tell. It was an absolutely terrifying experience. I believe these are the same dogs others have mentioned in reviews. I had never visited this park before, but immediately upon entering, a woman with a different dog warned me, "Be careful, those dogs over there are aggressive." She was referring to two poodle-like dogs, one beige and one gray, that were deeper in the park. Their owner didn't seem to be paying much attention to her off-leash dogs. Soon after, the woman who warned me and her dog left the park. My dog is small and timid, so we stayed near the entrance on a leash. The aggressive dogs were far in the back of the park, quite a distance away, so I thought we were safe. However, those dogs ran straight towards my dog. Knowing the warning, I immediately picked up my dog. But the dogs jumped repeatedly and bit my dog. Thankfully, he only sustained a shallow wound on his tail, but he was trembling with fear. Other dog owners who were just entering the park witnessed the scene. They immediately turned back, unwilling to stay in such a dangerous place. The owner of the aggressive dogs didn't apologize and just said, "This doesn't usually happen." It was useless to talk to her. My dog is small, so if I hadn't picked him up, he would have been severely injured. I will never go to a park where such dangerous dogs are present again. Especially small dog owners,...
Read moreHORRIBLE PLEASE READ. First off, the water area is surrounded by bees. Be so careful with your pup, they will sting. Second, the dog aggression here is insane. There is this one lady who always comes in with her poodles and terrier ish dog. They are SO problematic and the terrier is aggressive. she scoffs as if every other dog as if they’re the issue. If your dog can’t handle another dog coming over to sniff, an off leash dog park is not for you. Non stop barking when she’s here. Also two little corgis go through here a lot and love to chase down and harshly bite. The owners yell but allows it to happen. I can’t take my husky here without being attacked lol. Not the vibe. But there seems to be this really cute group that meets up daily w their...
Read moreThis is nice little dog park, very hard to find as it is tucked way back behind the stores. It draws a neighborhood crowd and has a huge open area for dogs to run and play. Benches are place under trees around the edges of the field. There is a dog water fountain and poo bags are supplied. Beware owners bringing aggressive dogs. About a month ago my French bull dog was attacked by a boxer whose owner seemed to anticipate the aggression, but still his dog and let it off - leash. I have not...
