Viejas Arena — Attraction in San Diego

Concert was amazing but the staff were horrible. If you had any bag that was a little bigger then the requirement you were told to put it to the side or get out of line to put in your car and then get back in line which you probably stood there for hours already so most people just put there bags to the side thinking that there bags were gonna be safe. After the concert you were supposed to come get your bags if you left it to the side and when they came out to get there stuff they noticed that everyone’s bags were gone then you asked the staff what happened and the staff said that the some of the staff took all the bags and threw them away in the trash. When people asked where they threw it away at they said that they didn’t know they just took them and put them in plastic bags and threw it away. So if you go to place make sure you have the correct size of purse. Not only was the entry staff rude so was there crossing guard. This crossing guard would get mad at people who were just standing on a sidewalk by the parking lot not even near where people would go to cross. He also would get annoyed with people for just trying to cross the street for example one person had a flashlight and he asked the guy why do you have that and the guy responded with because i bought it. Concert Not for folks a little older The stadium seating is disorienting and difficult to climb. You have to hold on tight If you’ve got better seats it’s 40 or so rows down and up Rows are narrow. Have to hold seats to feel steady Use bathroom before because you won’t do those stairs again I believe if you pay for floor seats there’s an elevator down, but check before Parking was way overpriced at 31$ and staff didn’t even know how to direct you state shouldn’t be ripping off residents Parking garages should have signs posted about the bag policy so people don’t have to go back to their cars to put their oversized bag away Security is tighter than customs Super high concession prices- especially alcohol They serve wine in flimsy small plastic cup So they can measure the correct amount I asked for a bigger cup to put it into so I wouldn’t spill when walking. Been to this venue many times. They get a lot of good concerts. A few things to know about this arena. Arrive early since there's usually a long line from the freeway for parking. There's no suites or upper levels. It's just the floor and 35 rows of seats above it. Meaning you have to walk down 35 rows to get to the floor, if you have floor seats. There's only one elevator from the floor that can get jammed. There's seperate bathrooms and concessions for floor seats. However, the lines are longer there for both than the ones when you enter the arena on top. The interior walkway around the arena on top to get to your seats can get jammed and it is not much space to begin with. Security here is consistently lazy. People smoke right outside the arena doors. Will call pick up is very slow especially when it's a sold out show. On the positive side the arena is smaller than some of its competition so even the further back seats have a decent view...
