Battery Marcus Miller — Attraction in San Francisco

It was our first time here , the views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay are amazing . Many visitors park here on the Merchant Rd parking lot and then walk onto the Golden Gate Bridge.

I've read many articles about SF having a problem with vehicle smash and grab break-ins. When we came back to our vehicle , the police were in the parking lot with two different families . Both of their vehicles , which were parked next to each other , were broken into. ( This was on a Monday evening around 6:30pm)
