Had a great father-daughter-trip whit my youngest daughter. We went fishing with my cousin and his daughter. It was a beautiful day to teach my youngest to fish and crab off the pier.
We caught only a couple of fish. Some brown rock fish. But the crabbing was awesome. We caught 20 crabs. But only two were big enough to keep. But that was fine. She had so much fun pulling up the trap. And grabbing the little crabs and throwing them back. Refill bate box. And then dropping trap back down.
Just a nice place to teach her how to fish and crab. Teach the rules of what a keeper is. And to see the others out there, and keeping our social distancing. Had a great time. Then her and her cousin play on the beach.

There seems to be more to see than just the pier in the vicinity, as the bay area has so much to see and do. You can't walk to the lighthouse, this is as close as it gets without a boat. Read moreFantastic viewpoint of the Golden Gate Bridge that was completely empty (at the time we went) compared to all the other spots. Really appreciated the unique low angle of the bridge.
Once you’re done you can then walk through the adjacent grounds which are stunning. Take the chapel trail up to the road and then you can do the short hike up to the top to get to the other viewpoints.
