PLEASE BEWARE OF DOG FEMALE ASSAULTER. The dog park in itself is great. I wish it had sectioned off areas for big and small dogs. There’s one woman in particular, let’s call her Karen, who repeatedly assaults other dogs who sniff, play with, jump on or lick her small black chihuahua. She assaulted my dog in particular twice now, once while I took him to the dog park and once when my husband did. Each time she assaulted my dog and other dogs, she chased out every dog owner from the park (which may have been her aim to begin with.) She would enter the park and not even 0.02 seconds after she would yell “get your dog out of here” once dogs approach her dog… in a public park…. made for dogs. She mostly targets bigger dogs as she can more successfully cry victim, but my husband said that she did the same to some medium sized dogs who merely sniffed her legs. Karen is white, middle aged, has worn a white cap both times she was seen and what looks like a tennis skirt and tank top. We have tried to call the cops on her but she was not at the park by the time police showed up both times. If anyone actually reads through this and sees someone matching Karen’s description at the dog park, I would suggest either recording her in case she assaults your dog, leaving the park altogether, or hope that your dog has good recall to avoid her. Please be careful ESPECIALLY if you are a big dog owner or the owner of a breed that is falsely stereotyped as “scary” as she will kick...
Read moreSo I've been taking outdoor Hip hop dance classes brought to you by Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco (go ahead, Google, I'll be right here). So here's the lowdown: the bathrooms are exquisitely clean so woot woot to the parks and rec folx for keeping this bathroom clean yo. So I see families with heir little Muppets in the playground. They seem to be having a great time (not sure if they're cussing each other out under their breaths, regretting having children with their partners. but that's a projection, that may or may not be mine). Two tennis courts beside a basketball court that the dance class uses. No hypodermic needles, so yay. Never been to the dog park. But I've seen some dog activities there,...
Read moreWe went to St Mary's for a Easter egg beagle meetup. The park is large for SF standards. The large grassy area is surrounded by a path. Which allows you to get in a small walk while watching your dog. It is a mixed use, both a large and small dog playing together. The dogs had a great time searching for treat filled eggs. The dog park itself deserves 5 stars. But there's absolutely no parking. This is clearly a neighborhood dog park. We ended up parking 4 blocks away. Big tip, don't follow Google maps. It will take you to the side of the freeway behind the park. Exit the freeway and drive around to the...
