Bayshore Inn — Attraction in San Jose

Strongly disagree with the 3.5 stars. It gets zero stars from us. There was blood on the door and light switch. Food left over in the microwave. The whole room itself looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Or months. When we asked for a new room, even with all of this information given to the clerk, we were told we had been in there too long. No. We went to get food. Tried to settle in and clean and stomach the issues as it was one night only. But upon opening the microwave, that was the last straw. He also went into the room and we could see from across the way that he didn't even open the microwave and look. He was too concerned on checking the sheets. Which we didn't even touch. We had to throw a sleeping bag and blanket on the bed just to be able to sit. Do not go here. Not worth 106$. Not even worth $30. Homeless lined up in the back of the building. So we couldn't even keep the bathroom window open. Broken tp holder. Broken lock. Broken heater. Just awful. After this, we drove 700 miles straight home just to avoid ending up in a dump...

I called before I go to this place because Tuesday morning at 3 am I went without calling the guy didn’t open the office and I called and asked him can I get room he actually said that they are close they open at 7am but I went Day before that at same time and he gave me room today when I went again to get room he said that I was smoked in the room when I’m not supposed to so he was gonna want to charge me 50$ for deposit I said ok I’m sorry won’t happen again and told him it’s fine to charge me 50$ deposit and total was 170$ try to charge with my debit card it’s was declined first time I show him my bank balance ask him to try it again it’s was declined again so try to pay half from my other card and pay the rest cash now he want me to pay him 170$ room and 50$ deposit wow so I left and asked him if he cancel my transaction he said yes but now I check my account there was charge for 91.37 which I do not know why he even charge me 1.37 $ extra I will never ever going back to...

Horrible service, had to put a $100 deposit which wasn't told to us till after we reserved the room and paid for it. Microwave was broke, mud was seeping through the cracks in the floor... Water...
