Nice park! Nice enough restrooms... Which I'd just like to take a second to applaud San Jose, CA for keeping the restrooms in parks working and functional!! Bcuz unlike Santa Cruz, where they have closed most of the park restrooms, or AT LEAST taken the soap and many times, sinks - out!! Altogether!! To detour the homeless from using them to bathe... Which caused a terrible Hepatitis A outbreak (which is caused from not washing hands and then preparing/eating food - so, in short, eating feces!!) - people can still wash there hands after using the restroom!! What a concept!! I thought that was what you were ALWAYS suppose to do!? I guess Santa Cruz, CA doesn't think that's very important...

In any case, thank you for being decent human beings and not removing the sinks or soap from this park, or another one I visited recently!! Its much...

I took my granddaughter out to lunch and afterwards she wanted to go to a playground. This was the closest one so we traveled there. It's the old frontier village grounds and I grew up in the area and have some history there so it was pretty nostalgic for me. It's nice, I loved the big trees but otherwise pretty barren and was so closed down with heavy fencing it almost felt like a prison. They had a great playground but it was so hot that my granddaughter couldn't do much because most of the equipment was made out of metal and it was hot from the sun. Overall I don't know why they did it this way as there is only a small area that is grass. And by the way with all that playground equipment there were no monkey bars which is...

Remember Frontier Village, The old West theme park that used to be in San Jose? This is the remnants of it. You can still look all those various areas and ride locations that you may have visited as a kid. Now it's a fantastic park that is very wooded with lots of great paved trails and a fantastic Western themed playground. If you're a tennis buff you will also enjoy the four courts that are here. there is a large sand pit that is suitable for great volleyball games as well as many places to picnic and barbecue. Plenty of parking and bicycle and pet friendly. Afterwards walk over to the historical Hayes Mansion for some great...

Edenvale Garden Park in San Jose is a hidden gem! It’s a lovely, well-kept park with lots of green space and beautiful gardens. The walking trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. The playground is great for kids, with lots of fun equipment to keep them entertained. There’s also a nice picnic area with tables and BBQ pits, making it a perfect spot for a family outing. The park is peaceful and not too crowded, which makes it a great place to relax. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful place to spend some time outdoors.

My 4 year old daughter enjoyed this area almost as much as I did as a kid when it was Frontier Village. We had a really good hour here today. Climbing, swinging, running, chasing and being chased. Thank you to the 2 older girls who took the time to help teach my daughter the finer points of going up and down both rock structures safely. We both enjoyed seeing a turkey vulture ( I think) hunting game in the open field as she swung. What a wonderful place to take a break from the commute back home. Thank you San Jose for keeping this treasure around.

Ok... let’s all take a minute to appreciate what this park has become. Settled beautifully in contrast to Hayes Mansion, also beautiful. 2nd to the park. I said what I said! You won’t crush many BMX records on the course... unless you get “creative”. The trails are more for early/ beginners to the sport. Aside from that... typical park activities. Except better than what you’re use to (if you haven’t been here) as of yet. If you have, see you there. It’s our chosen place to study 📖🙏
