Panaderia Rosas — Restaurant in San Jose

I've been getting my Mexican sweet bread here for a couple of years now, and I can't think of a single complaint or negative thought about this business. The ladies are so nice and attentive, the bread is delicious, and the tres leches cake is my new favorite cake for special occasions. In this case, I can only say that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The location is not very appealing, with the smoke shop on one side, but that is something over which they have no control. I have had relatives visiting from Mexico, and even they have said the bread is really good, as good or better...

Look I'm not Latin and I don't want to appropriate the beautiful culture so I'll say this. If you know what to get, you're in for a phenomenal time.

I ordered their Carne Asada torta and it was so good! The crunch on the bread is so satisfying and the flavor on their Carne asada has a really good spice to it. Recommend this place...
