Did anyone else know there's mini shopping mall here? I sure didn't. Its pretty cool actually. Now I understand why its always so busy here. There's also a nice mexican restaurant and at night the restaurant bring out their prettiest waitresses. *wink *wink. Also a seafood restaurant, and ice cream shop, insurance place, mountain mikes etc. On the low low you can purchase bus tickets to Tijuana or baja california, another identity, a hitman, haha jk about the hitman. There's plenty of parking. Lots of people walking around so drive slow. I mainly shop at the Tropicana Food market for their Carniceria that's always freshly cut and packaged right in front of you. Better than across the street(in my own opinion). There's also De La Rosa pharmacy, you can find western remedies here or medicine that actually works at the pharmacy. If you have prescription medicine from Mexico, this is perfect pharmacy to go to. This is really like a mini Latino Plaza. If your another ethnicity and you visit, you'll be like a mini celebrity, graciously attended. You can find a variety of shops, shoe stores, beauty salons, mens suits, jewelry shops, bank of america, metro pcs, ice cream shop,etc.. In summary, La Placita is like its own...

Read moreNo stars if possible. Litzy's salon ruined my family member's hair. The "stylist" couldn't do a balayage but told us otherwise and just bleached and tangled her hair. She had to go elsewhere to go fix it. The ladies were so unprofessional and tried to say that we just didnt want to pay. But honestly why would we pay for the mess she made. They tried to say that she was whining too much and was overly sensitive when the stylist tried to untangle all the hair she unnecessarily teased pre-bleach. She then offered to cut the knots out because she never even finished the cut before she started coloring the hair. Dont know how these people have licenses and keep a business running without professionalism or the ability to do their jobs. Never go there! Especially the stylist with the long dark hair.(didnt get her name as we had just expected to pop in and check on how everything was going as they were wrapping up and...
