The campechana was great. I got the small and it was a good portion. Plenty of shrimp and octopus. I asked for no Oysters. The flavor was great..I usually have to drown it in lime..but didn't with this one..they gave me a Serrano sauce and tostada as well. The tostadas were salty and very crunchy. I enjoyed them. The cucumber was fresh and crunchy. Amazing. The Jamaica was cold and had great flavor. The ceviche was delicious and the sushi surprised us. The rice was almost overcooked tho. The service was good. The music was great. Parking can be tricky. The only thing we didn't like was that the menu doesn't show the price. But it wasn't a bad price for everything when it came time to pay.

This San Jose, Mexican-seafood restaurant located in the iconic Tropicana Shopping Center now boasts expanded menu options and they now take credit cards. At times the blaring live banda music can be so loud that you can't hold a conversation with the person sitting across the table from you. For some folks this is a fun thing, for others, not so much. The place can get crowded on weekends. Wait staff is mostly spanish-speaking. Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood and craving a spicy aguachile dish.

I had no idea that Mexican Sushi was a thing? The first time we ate her I ordered sushi with The Al pastor and the shrimp ceviche. and my future mother in law ordered some tacos. The second time we tried the Tampico Sushi and shared the ceviche. I promised the waitress I would highly recommend the restaurant. i The food speaks for itself and it brought come back twice.

Unfortunately this place is not what I expected regarding food. I went there wanting to hear live music and a casual environment, which it was. The food however, was not what I paid for. We saw a good picture of a cevichelada which is a michelada topped with ceviche and the price is $20 each, no biggie I figured it would be worth it. WRONG, the drink was good can't go wrong with a michelada, but the ceviche was horrible. This only had tomato, onion, cucumbers, 2 shrimp and pieces of octopus 😣 that's it. My husband ordered a morcajete and it was horrible too. Full of beans, nopales, 3 pieces of cheese, 4 shrimp and a pinch of meat! I only ordered 3 tacos dorados de camaron and those were basic. Totally not worth my tablet of $100! You do not get what you pay for here, this is only good for people who want...

If you're craving seafood, this place is a fantastic choice! They offer a variety of delicious meat options as well, making it a great spot for most diners. However, there's a significant gap in their menu: the lack of vegetarian options. When my family visited, I was unable to eat as I didn't realize beforehand that there wouldn't be any vegetarian dishes available.

Most restaurants typically have at least one or two vegetarian choices, so this was a bit disappointing. I'd highly recommend the restaurant consider adding a few vegetarian-friendly items, like a cucumber salad or a vegetarian tostada with avocado, cilantro, cucumber, onions, and other fresh ingredients they already have on hand. This small change could make the dining experience more inclusive...
