Michaels — Attraction in San Jose

Tonight I came in with a receipt and brought our flag frame back because at the time I bought it I didn’t see a chip in the glass until tonight when we decided to set up my grandpas veteran flag. There was a piece of missing glass in the corner which wasn’t noticeable when you just going to buy arts n craft item and see the flag frame on sale why not put it in the cart. This employee made me feel like I damaged it and brought it back to return it. I even bought one that was more expensive why would I bring in something I damaged that just wouldn’t make sense at all. I’m appalled by this woman’s accusations and she can try to say she did nothing wrong but she did and I didn’t appreciate it one bit. The cashier who helped me was a VERY kind young lady which Edith should take notes from because not everyone is ripping off stores especially the ones paying taxes to our economy. Edith should learn her policy before assuming anything about any customer if I could sue for her discriminating believe me I would!

Michael's has the inventory that you need always though I've always found throughout their locations that there employees are much less experienced than the people who shot their..I guess it would be difficult to find seasoned crafty people and have them happy in there job there pointing people in different directions Nd taking money for min wage as I doubt they pay much m ou re than that.its more likely it's a part time gig for most people hoping for better careers and the atmosphere there suffers because of that I think.to bad too because I dont hv or see a suggestion out of that for this type of business unless you can find retired art/shop/woodworker types..see s it however would be satisfying position for them I you just turned one or too loose in the store to just wander at their own discretion wouldnt it.?
