Cozy Tea Loft — Restaurant in San Jose

My boyfriend and I first started coming here when they just opened. Even if we tend to come here right before closing, the staff here are always welcoming and very sweet. She remembers our favorite orders - Honey Tieguanyin Oolong Tea with Golden Boba, and Yakult Yogurt Slushie. I tried their other drinks as well and their French Raspberry Green Tea is very unique and my friends love it. They use tea with actually good quality, and I enjoy exploring their menu with all the selection they offer. I love their interior, atmosphere, and choice of music - not too loud, not too quiet. They have been slowly upgrading their interior, and I can see this place getting busier each time we come back. Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out.

As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service.

Stop by this boba shop when we were around the area. Interior is neat. It is a self-service order using a touch screen. Beside boba, they also have toast. We ordered torch brown suga boba milk and Taiwanese pineapple green tea eith 20% sweet. You can not reduce the sweetness of tovlrch brown sugar boba. There are many topping options to choose from. It took a while for our drink to be ready. It was pretty slow service. The shop was not crowded but seems like many online orders. There is only a person preparing the boba at that time.
