My wife and I decided last year to remodel our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. After looking at just about every stone yard in San Diego from Miramar road North we made the decision to use Ijen Blue (in the kitchen) and Taj Mahal (in the bathrooms) quartzite. After reading many reviews and a number of visits, we purchased from Brazilian Exotic Granite in San Marcos. They were terrific in letting us bring back cabinet and flooring samples, paint colors, etc. and pulling out our slabs so we could ensure everything was compatible. In addition, we purchased the slabs early in our planning process not realizing it would require months to obtain the permits from the City of San Diego. They protected and stored our slabs until we were ready to have the slabs fabricated and installed. They provided great service, a terrific team of knowledgeable individuals to help us navigate through the process, and the pricing was very reasonable. The inventory of available slabs is stunning. We could not be happier with every aspect of the process and the beautiful final product. This company sets the high bar in every...
Read moreIf we could give 0 stars I would. We had an appointment with Natilee on November 13 in the afternoon. When we arrived they said she had left for the day but Malu could help us. We put a hold on 2 pieces of marble (our invoice says hold for 2 weeks). Malu at Brazilian Stone had told us they would call us if someone else wanted to purchase them. We had to give the dimensions to our fabricator to see if 2 slabs would be enough. The fabricator got back to us on Nov. 17 saying the 2 slabs would be plenty. Our designer told us today that Brazilian had sold one of our slabs. Malu did not call us, Natilee did giving us a bunch of excuses how this happened. We are very upset, disappointed and would never trust this company! It was a waste of time and energy. I got a response from someone at Brazilian (no name) that said they wanted to rectify this. I called and no one knew what I was...
Read moreI worked with Natalie recently on a crack issue from an install that happened a year ago. I bought new kitchen countertops in granite from their business and near the sink cracked within the first week. They filled the crack with epoxy but it worsened over a period of a year. Finally the time came that I needed to buy a piece of stone for the master bathroom vanity. I went to Natalie and spoke to her about the crack and the new stone. She send out Fermin who measured and replaced the cracked piece. They did a really nice job and are currently holding my new stone for me (I paid for it) until I am ready for the install. I would recommend them not just based on the selection but the customer service after the fact which is always most important. You can always gauge the integrity of a business by the way they handle issues AFTER they have been...
