Grocery Outlet — Attraction in San Marcos

If you don't feel like waiting in line at the 99 NonCents (only) store, this place has all the same stuff, only less hectic looking in presentation. They restricted their self check out to 10 items. I walked in with three items. No one at the register at all and the guy behind there said I have to send you away. I had crab legs, oysters, seafood, and that was it and I had some steak marinating package they counted the individual package. I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years now and I will never ever set foot in another Winco. It was a principal they wanted me to go wait in line with people that had shopping carts full of items it was gonna cost me another 25 minutes Over two items and I flat out asked them. You’re really gonna send me away for two items and they indicated they’re changing all of their policy. I went to the front desk and they said the same thing very disrespectfully they don’t care! so...

Not the best location near a very busy road that's basically one-way. There are no baskets here, only carts! Worth pointing out right away as this alone is a deal breaker for me as someone who likes to only buy what can fit in a small basket and I don't want to push a cart around this small store. They play store ads constantly over the speakers here which I've never heard at any other Grocery Outlet and I've been to quite a few locations. The selection is awful here compared to other Grocery Outlet locations within San Diego and elsewhere. Not once have I seen cold brew coffee in a larger size here unlike other locations. Cashiers are the slowest I've ever seen in my life. Overall avoid this...
