Go cakes for the win. This is my new favorite bakery for cakes. I tend to prefer Japanese/ French Vietnamese cakes vs American cakes as they are lighter and have less sugar. We recently ordered three cakes: strawberry shortcake, banana chocolate and sea salt caramel. The strawberry had layers of chiffon with fresh strawberries and layers of perfectly sweetened whip cream frosting. The banana chocolate was light chocolate chiffon with a bottom layer of ganache, sliced bananas and light chocolate whip cream frosting. It was not overpowering and had the perfect balance of chocolate. It dethroned cream pan’s African queen cake on my favorite cake list. The sea salt caramel was our ultimate favorite. This is not your typical sea salt Carmel cake. Layers of chiffon with light whip cream frosting, homemade caramel and homemade nougats of almond and Caramel were divine. The homemade caramel is light and not overly sweet. It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty and that crunch from the nougats was on another level. we also ordered cake pops which were moist and delicious. The “go puffy “ cheesecake/custard hybrid was also delectable. If you love Japanese style cheesecake and Filipino Leche flan this is a hybrid ( flavor wise).
I have read previous comments from people about how expensive the cakes are but really the price of their cakes are on par with almost all of the independent bakeries in Southern California. If your getting a cake from Vons , Costco and even Porto’s, yes it’s cheaper but the volume that they sell makes up for the cost. Also the quality and craftsmanship of these cakes and desserts are unparalleled. I know, I drove an hour from the inland empire.
Lastly, I have to mention that the service I received from Steph was amazing. The customer service that she and the other workers provided was friendly, polite...
Read moreOh my goodness! The cutest little small business bakery I’ve ever been to! Got the honeycomb cake to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Not only was it absolutely DELICIOUS, it was also so pretty and THE CUTEST cake I’ve ever purchased. It was my first time trying honeycomb, and it was SO GOOD! The cake was light and spongey. The frosting wasn’t too sweet, and the honeycomb added such a nice texture with a little crunch. They also have these super cute personalized and edible birthday signs for their cakes that really was the cherry on top for my sister’s cake 🥰 While we were there, we got to meet the 2 female owners who bake everything themselves in the shop. Cannot wait to come back to try all their other sweet treats and buy the rest of my family’s birthday cakes from here 😋🎂💗 the shop is kind of hard to find since they don’t have a large store front sign yet, but...

Let me take a moment to reiterate this for the people who haven't been through the agony of wedding planning: Nothing... and I mean NOTHING that should have been simple, professional, and worth the money they dared charge us "because it's a wedding" was actually worth it, simple, professional, or reasonably priced EXCEPT FOR THIS.
They treated us like family; they made us feel they were honored to share a role in our wedding, and treated their task accordingly. They went above and beyond in their customer service and kindness, and I will never forget it. Everyone loved the result, and everything looked and...
