Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art — Attraction in San Marino

This Museum contains a wide array of American art, from fabulous marble sculptures to metal cooking utensils, to a reconstructed room from a prairie style home, and three of the most famous George Washington portraits in the world. My only complaint is that the light was very low in a number of the galleries which made it hard for my father to see the art, due to his macular degeneration. Some of the art pieces were really awesome to see in person and up close, unfortunately some of it I wouldn't really consider art pieces. Some really cool furniture though!
