The Cave Smoke Shop — Attraction in San Mateo

Been going here for years even when I lived in Sacramento I would still drive all the way back because the only reliable smoke shop right now I met the owners in the past they were very friendly and welcoming to my knowledge everybody that works there is very knowledgeable about the glass for sale I don't know if they still do but I'm pretty sure they still make custom glass in house so you can definitely find a piece that you'll find it no other smoke shop the prices are fair they have some decent price to extremely expensive I really like to shop because they have every single need you can think of in the store literally from the floor to the very tip of the ceiling every single wall has something on it it's the only shop I know that has a huge section of bubblers handheld pipes crazy amount of bongs and a whole bunch of different kind of glass pieces I definitely recommend checking this place out this is my number one go-to place in the entire Bay Area they have another club in San Francisco called Puff Puff Pass I definitely give the cave a shot it's my...

Felt like I got dragged through dirt, for ordering a tube that was from the online drop for 4/16 I received 1 email saying that it was being processed and got nothing back on shipping details besides may take up to 5days. I call on 4/19 to see if they heard anything or received it nothin they where nice an assured me that it'd take bout 5 days and to wait for an email that'll tell you when my order has arrived at the local shop. Today's date is 4/23 an I still haven't gotten an email I had to call in to see if they had my order n apparently they just had it there without trying to reach out to inform me that my tube arrived I tried to pick up my tube after a graveyard shift and I was unable to take ownership of my new piece and overall left me frustrated and angry from being a first time and last...

Not a bad shop. Personally I've only delt with them online so thats what my review will reflect.

While the website has had its share of issues in the past these guys have made efforts to improve it. Categories/brands could use some work but now drops/new items appear on their home page which is super nice. Easy to find what you're looking for and check out is easy as well.

The biggest thing they now offer is a rewards system, which is nice. To bad it dosent count past orders as I have spent thousands here. But its nice to know they have it in place. Id love to see the rewards system bloom in to something like first pick on a drop, discount code etc.

The staff has always been super 😎. Each interaction I've had has been pleasant. Ill definitely make more purchases here...
