Laurie Meadows Park is vast with a large lawn, a lot of picnic tables and barbecues, and a vast array of playground equipment for kids of all ages. It is perfect for soaking up the San Mateo sun, having picnics and parties, and just letting your kids run lose. I rode through the park on my scooter, cutting through it when I was a kid. Like I have said about all parks, this is well maintained and also perfect for dogs. People may or may not know about the park on the other side or actually in the very back of the park; it is over the bridge and is in the adjoining residential area in the back. This back park is smaller with a small playground and a few benches, just so everyone knows. Getting back to the main park, it is great for everyone for every activity and will be there for years to come. Keep up the good work City...
Read morePretty small park that used to be nice but it’s starting to become a bit overrun. Not sure who the genius was who decided to put trees with spiky leaves over top of a sandbox or vice versa but the fact they never clean the sandbox out there’s always sharp dirty leaves everywhere. We try to avoid this park because it’s starting to get a little dirtier and it seems a lot more people from outside of the neighborhood are coming here.
