Sanger Ace Hardware — Attraction in Sanger

Went in here around noon on Oct 3. Three employees hanging around the counter. I showed one of them (older guy) a picture of what I was wanting to do. Needed an idea of how to connect the new water heater relief valve to the drain hose from the previous heater as the valve was in a different position than the old tank. I asked if maybe there was some sort of flex hose they had. Basically just kinda smirked and shrugged his shoulders. Like I was inconveniencing him. Offered no help. Neither did the other 2 employees. The younger guy behind the counter said something to the effect that I’ll just have to figure it out myself. I went back to the plumbing section and found the hose and connections I needed. I’ll never spend another penny...

They've got a ton packed in here! Lots more items than I expected! They are very friendly and customer service oriented here! In and out so much quicker than Lowes or Home Depot. I love both of those but sometimes you just need one item. This is right here in Sanger so it's fast, no drive all the way to the far side of Denton. There was a register problem processing my debit card and I called my bank and it was resolved. It showed it charging my account but their register showed they hadn't received the funds. That's a machine problem, not a people one. It got resolved by running it again and it didn't charge me a second time. Weird deal, but was fixed. They got their money and I left with exactly what I needed in a hurry....

These guys are wonderful. They're open on Sundays, and especially after such a devistating winter ice storm when so many of the area residents were trying to repair their plumbing, these guys brought all hands on deck to help us out. I was in need of some plywood to place under a water heater and Chris offered to go the extra mile to help me with my needs.
