This is a local's beach, and it is truly one of the finest strands in the entire world, (my favorite anyway) It is a semi remote and very beautiful and magical place. There's an unsurpassed view of the purple channel islands and the perfect bluegreen Pacific Ocean and pale blue sky above the turning waves of foam. Not bad, for perfect. With that said, this beach is a gem, and I don't want too many people to come visit so.... BEWARE... There are gigantic man-eating sabertooth bats that come out at night and steal people to feed their young. And of course the sea monsters are everywhere.

Being from Arizona I think all beaches are great but this one allows dogs and dogs off the leash what could be better than that, plus the open space park above the the beach is a nice walk and views of the ocean. There are some services at one area of the beach but parking could be better maybe not the place to go if you're not a walker/hiker plan on about a mile walk to the beach if you can't find parking and then take your shoes off and play in the sand.

A very picturesque place with stunning views of the ocean and hills. Perfect for a peaceful walk, relaxing, and enjoying nature. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, take some photos, or simply connect with nature, this location has it all. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Santa Barbara.

This would be a good spot if it weren’t for the endless stairs and small beach area. With any amount of tide there is little to no beach and too many people. There are more rocks than sand.

The stairs often have at least one pile of dog feces that have been stepped in and covered across multiple steps.

Trash cans at the access way are overloaded and overflowing.

Parking is normally a hassle and ends up being a long walk with any gear. The difficult access, high volume of people and lack of any beach make this a hard place...
