Extremely disappointing experience at the Silicon Valley campus. We were just walking by and noticed the NVIDIA logo by the roadside. Since we wanted to take a photo, we politely checked with two security guards to see if it was allowed. Both said yes and reminded us to be careful of the traffic. However, an Asian security guard is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! He abruptly approached us and aggressively demanded that we put our phones away—even though there were no signs anywhere indicating that photography was prohibited.
As we headed back to our car across the street, the same guard kept staring at us for at least three full minutes. He insisted that we take a specific route and threatened to call the police if we didn’t follow his directions—without giving any valid reason. Meanwhile, we noticed another group of people freely walking around and taking photos without any interference. We felt clearly targeted and discriminated against.
