I rode this years ago when it was brand new and under the Terminator name, and while I always thought it was a good ride, I just rode this since it’s apparent new tracking and I literally had my jaw dropped the entire time. This coaster absolutely tears through the track with force, and in my opinion is actually a better ride than the otherwise indubitable favorite in this park: Twisted Colossus. Apocalypse is a top 3 ride in this park, and definitely the most underrated one. And maybe second best wooden coaster OVERALL to Ghostrider at Knotts. Read moreI can’t begin to imagine why anyone would give this ride anything above 1*, the theming of this ride is pretty interest, but really this is only positive aspect of this ride. It’s so violent it gave me a mild concussion. Not only me, but I know people who’ve experienced intense neck and head injuries due to this ride as well. It’s not enjoyable what so ever.
