Alright, let me be the first to review this ride. This is a great addition to the park! It's like Twisted Colossus and Full Throttle had a baby! The ride is geared toward families, but even thrill seekers can get a kick out of it. The launches are surprisingly forceful, and the inversion provide some great hangtime. The high-five element (the part where both trains bank in away in which the riders can high-five each other.) Was a nice surprise, as it gave some nice lateral airtime. I do believe that this fills the gap between Magic Mountain's thrill coaster line up and family coaster line up. The ride may be great, but the middle "pit stop" part was a bit underwhelming, and didn't live up to the hype. Just know that if you are going during the technical rehearsals (in which I did on opening day), just know that the ride could break down, as it did multiple times. Hope this...
Read moreThis is a solid launch coaster! To start, this ride duels every single time! The interactive moments with the other train is just so much fun. It starts of on the white side with an okay launch into the high five, and this offers some awesome lateral whip and a great pop of ejector airtime! The zero-g stall is also really great as you dangle above the other train. The booster launch has a great kick to it as well. The corkscrew has a nice floaty sensation, and the following helixes have great positive g-forces. The yellow side is mostly the same just without the zero-g stall. I also think the yellow side does better when it comes to positive g-forces. The trains on this are really uncomfortable, they really need to do something about those comfort collars. It's not the most airtime centric ride either so it doesn't rank as highly for me, but for what it does it...
Read moreAesthetically, this coaster is very pleasing. The white and yellow tracks wrapping gracefully around the surrounding attractions/walkways is somewhat of a marvel in itself. In terms of thrills, it feels somewhat tame throughout. That being said, I’d classify this as the PERFECT rollercoaster for introducing young thrill seekers to launches and inversions. The racing aspect is also a major plus, but slow dispatches can lead to an awkward wait between cycle 1 and 2. My least favorite part of the ride is the theming. Although this coaster just opened last year, the queue/on-ride video segments make the ride feel dated. I think the coaster will be better off when the partnership with West Coast Customs has come to an end. Overall a decent ride. Worth up to an hour wait...
