Amelia Mayberry Park — Attraction in Santa Fe Springs

This is a great park in the south whitter area. Always bring my kids here like almost every other day. Summer time is fun especially when the splash playground is open. Lots of play gyms ..2 different basketball courts on each side of the side of the park. Baseball field ..outdoor gym area...it even has a gymnasium where they host certain programs like zumba and other children programs. Its a big community center for all ages. They usually have nice events year round. Lots of bands that play here for those types of events. Games and free meals at times. Safe and secure area sheriffs are always present During the day and at night. Only thing would be they should definitely updat their swing sets. They look old...

Loved it here! We have passes to Splash La Mirada but to our surprise they are already on their 'off summer' hours. We came dressed in our bathing attire so we needed to find an alternative. I googled 'splash pads near me' and found this hidden gem! I actually prefer it over Splash La Mirada because it was empty, it was more mellow for my 2 year old, and it has a lot of nice jungle gym equipment. My son actually prefered the playground over the water. It was nice to work up a sweat on the jungle gym and then cool off in the water for FREE! Great park, I highly rexommend it. Btw, the friendly staff told me that the water is usually on, even after summer is long...
