My husband and I took our 10 month old to see the lights and decorations for the first time on 12/15 around 7:30 pm. Finding parking was tricky, but getting in was easy. The lights and decorations were beautiful and well done. Our daughter was wide eyed and happy to see it all. Despite going on a Friday night, it wasn’t super crowded and there weren’t long lines. The food trucks served up delicious hot chocolate and we had some Indian Tacos that were super tasty. The staff at the trucks were super nice, and the picnic area was super clean despite the traffic it had.
So I take off a star from my review because Santa Claus wasn’t there nor were the reindeer. There were a few weird/creepy looking Grinches walking around. There wasn’t any Christmas music playing. Besides the plethora of places for photo ops, there were no games for kids (not that it mattered to us now because our daughter is too little), but I figured there would be more for kids to do. It was underwhelming honestly, but I understand this is a new and evolving thing. Hopefully in the future they’ll have more to do. Walking around and looking at the decorations was nice though. I’d say in a few years after some trial and error this place will be amazing. It’s just not exactly what the hype has made...
Read moreRoute 66 Christmas Chute, Sapulpa OK, right off Route 66 running through Sapulpa on the East side of 66. It was beautiful! It's like looking at many different Christmas tree decorationed on a ceiling hung by wire. There are different themes for each section... such as Elfs or Christmas candy etc. If walking is hard for you, this might not be for you, because walking around and looking up is all you're basically doing. Not many places to sit & you walk to get there from parking also. I thought it would have been great to have dressed-up characters running around. My granddaughter wore her Princess dress that day and people wanted to take her picture, so imagine if there were Christmas characters. Maybe I just missed them there, since I went New Years Eve. Some kind of games would be fun too. I was appalled by the $20. price to have your picture taken with a reindeer. That's just ridiculous. No one was doing it. The Chute was cool, but it definitely has lots of room to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing how it...
Read moreAwesome place I have ever visited . It has all things for all ages . My toddlers loves every bit of it and we too . They have decorated so well that you can’t put urself away from being clicked at every spot they have decorated . It’s like a Christmas wonderland which is free. They have different themes covered in decoration
They have food trucks also if you feel hungry just grab some food and enjoy
They also have igllos which are based on themes you choose . You have to book an individual igloo for 2 hrs and then have fun . It’s a life time experience I must say
Apart from that they have different events going on . We went on Saturday and they have snow for kids and also Jesus birth event happening there ..it was so real that we thought that we are living the time when Jesus was just born. Very impressive 👏
Loved the ambience and aura of the place ....
