The play space is definitely intriguing for young kids. My newly 5y old and 2.5y old jumped right in and had a great time exploring. For a relatively small space, there are several different play options, which encouraged my kids to engage in interactive play with others. Because the play area is predominantly designed for kids only, it gives them a chance to explore without adult interference, which mine enjoyed.
That said, there are some downsides. The space is quite small, leaving little room for parents/adults to watch comfortably. With so many kids playing independently, some became aggressive shoving past smaller children, jumping onto them, or blocking areas despite others patiently waiting their turn. My daughter experienced several of these situations.
Another concern was sanitation. While the space may look clean at first glance, I saw toddlers sucking on ball pit balls (with parents tossing them back in), kids licking fake food toys, and children in visibly soiled clothing using the play equipment. There didn’t seem to be any clear policy for removing mouthed toys for cleaning. I also only saw one staff member (a young woman, likely late teens) during our visit, which made it feel a bit under-supervised.
I truly wanted to love this place, my kids enjoyed themselves, and the concept of uninterrupted child led play is wonderful. However, the sanitation issues and lack of space for adults were significant drawbacks for me, especially for the price.
ETA: kids are both now sick after visiting here. The snotty coughing toddler in the ball pit is likely...
Read moreI do think the owners are really sweet, but there are a few things about the business that I’m not a fan of. My son is autistic, so it's challenging for us to go to places with loud noises and large crowds. I’ve inquired about booking a birthday party and paying to rent out the space as if was at it's at full capacity, but keep getting the same excuse about how upset other customers would be if they showed up and weren't allowed in. However, I often see them post on social media about shutting down for other reasons, like staffing issues, which I completely understand. But if they can share that on social media, why can’t they also announce when the space is rented for a private party? Or why can’t they offer an option to rent it after hours or before hours?
Additionally, I don’t think it’s fair to pay full price for a one-year-old who can’t really do most of the activities (like climbing) or enjoy 85-95% of what the business offers. Their general entry price is comparable to other places, which is fine, but the membership fees seem a bit high. When I checked membership fees for places like Sky Zone, Jumping Fun, or Kids Empire, they were priced more reasonably. As other reviews have mentioned, the place can also get very crowded, which can feel overwhelming and claustrophobic especially during high peak times...
Read moreMy two year old daughter enjoyed our first (but not last) experience here. I feel as if this establishment is focused more so on children 8 and under unlike most other indoor play areas. I was greeted immediately and the gentlemen behind the counter gave me the run down on the hours of operation and pricing. He offered me free socks (I prepared for my little but of course, forgot my own). I was extremely happy about that because I am the mom that climbs everywhere with her and won’t let her out of my eyesight. I noticed that he was constantly pushing in chairs, cleaning, organizing and even fixing kicked over rugs. It’s that keen eye for detail that prevents accidents and booboos! There were multiple activities for kids of different interests; my sweet girl particularly loved the slide into the ball pit, the Lego building station and the track for “cars” and bikes. I look forward to coming back here and having more fun play dates with...
