Gonna split this one down the middle. Nice park, with some easy trails to navigate and a nice lake to sit and feed the geese or sink a few worms.... but unfortunately, this park is not pet friendly. If you are from out of town, leave your pets at the hotel. Dogs are limited only to a vacant sand lot near the intersection. It is not fenced in, nor are there any play ground items for them to enjoy... just an empty sand lot, near some power lines and loud traffic zipping near by.
You would think with the amount of tourist this beautiful city receives, they would be a little more accommodating to their guests and residents.
Fear not... just a short drive to Historic Grayson Stadium, there is a fenced Dog Park, and a walking path.
Near by Skidaway Island State Park is also pet friendly... they do however require a $5 parking fee for the day... or get a year pass for $50. Dogs are welcome to most trails, with just a few exceptions...
