Great place to take a walk and take in some outdoor sculpture. Very few places like it in the Chicagoland area. Nice water features, several wooded and paved paths that run along a babbling creek. A few government offices in the small nearby buildings are an afterthought as you walk around a well maintained and landscaped area. They have a few craft fairs and Septemberfest every year and there's a parade route that runs along the grounds as well. I haven't even begun to talk about the theater and it's cultural importance to the area. They invite local school groups in for matinees and have some great performances in the evenings too. Very happy to live nearby and feel fortunate to get to experience this community...

Read moreWe went to see the Nutcracker and it was such a nice experience. When we first arrived, it was not immediately clear where to enter and the theater seemed very small. There are only a few chairs to sit when you arrive, so if you have mobility issues, I wouldnt arrive too early. Despite these things, the performance was fantastic.
