I love going to what I simply refer to as 'the farm '! It's a great escape from the craziness of daily life. They have different themes throughout the year. This visit was for Christmas. Love seeing the animals always! For this visit they had musicians playing Christmas music. Reasonably priced refreshments including hot chocolate, hot cider, chicken noodle soup and for free we could roast marshmallows over an open fire. I especially enjoyed going into the old house to get an idea of what Christmas might have been like back in the 1800's. They even had recipes to share! ...
Read moreLike the park but the trails are so rough its hard to transport kids on the farmy terrian, the graveled rock roads just sucks. My kids fell asleep in the wagon on way back from playground but woke up when we hit the graveled road. Playground is out of this world imaginative. It is so cool. I wish there was a shorter route to get to the playground and theres no flippin’ food at the farm, NONE. No water, we found the nature center had a gatorade vending machine and water fountain and chips at the nature gift shop, but man , starvin’ place needs a food...
Read moreWe are from out of town and my wife and daughter (in a wheelchair) came with me on a business trip. Once the business week was over we went looking for nature in the area to enjoy. This place does not disappoint. The environment they have built here will allow you to see just about anything you want to see. In the summer when we went any of the 100 pictures we took looked like a page from better homes...
