Chaparral Soccer &Training Field — Attraction in Scottsdale

Over the decades there has been little improvement. The are two areas and two parking lots. Both lots can be full. The driveway separates fields on north and south sides. Two pitches on the south and three on the north side which border the softball fields.The north side has club training for mainly younger players. The pitches to the south see minimal soccer, futbol use. That means grass is better. There is no seating and virtually no shade. Could use a restroom and drinking fountain. This is one of the largest soccer fields I've seen so far. It's right next to the Chaparral Park/ Lake. There's at least 2 or 3 sets of soccer nets so multiple games can be going on. The lawn there was also very well-kept- not overgrowing and clean of any litter. The area, however, is currently closed for maintenance. Downsides are there's not much shaded area and I don't recall seeing any bleacher seats while walking through here. I only spotted one...
